Augmented Reality in Education
My first experience with Augmented Reality was a magical one. I am not easily surprised or taken back by new advances in technology but Augmented Reality captured my attention immediately. However, it is what it did with my students that was something to behold. Not only did it fully engage them in the process of learning, it delivered content in a way that made the entire experience a truly authentic and personalised one. This multi-touch book aims to demonstrate how easy it is for teachers to create Augmented Reality experiences for their students.
Teaching Students to code on the iPad
The language of Code is a universal language. We use technology almost every minute of everyday and yet we remain ignorant of how technology actually works. What drives this technology? Formative Feedback has built in icons (positive and constructive feedback) that fosters communication and collaboration between students. Based on the philosophy of assessment guru's Robert Mazano and Dylan William, Formative Feedback is transforming the way feedback is given in schools today.
Science AR is the Augmented Reality App for schools. Makes the Science AR posters come alive. This App works in conjunction with the Science AR posters. Not in isolation.
The Science AR posters can be downloaded for free from the appsbypaulhamilton.com website. There are 2 available posters with the plan to release 1 per month.
Wifi and location services need to be enabled and working.
Once you have printed the Science AR posters, simply hold your mobile device up to different parts of the posters and watch the poster come alive with 3d models, videos and scientific diagrams.

However, it is the use of the note taking tools and record keeping structures that sets this ebook apart from the crowd. It also contains groups of spelling words from the text.
